چکیده

The effects of the windup phenomenon impact performance integral controllers commonly found in industrial processes. In particular, issues are critical for controlling variable and longtime delayed systems, as they may not be timely corrected by tracking error accumulation saturation actuators. This work introduces two anti-windup control algorithms a sliding mode (SMC) framework to promptly reset action discontinuous without inhibiting robustness overall system against disturbances. proposed intended anticipate steer toward origin region surface based on an anti-saturation logistic function robust compensation fed output variations. Experimental results show effectiveness when applied chemical processes, i.e., (i) Variable Height Mixing Tank (VHMT) (ii) Continuous Stirred Reactor (CSTR) with delay. approaches has been assessed under different reference disturbance changes, exhibiting that presence disturbances is enhanced up 24.35% terms Integral Square Error (ISE) 88.7% regarding Time (ITSE). Finally, methodology demonstrated excess cumulative energy actuator could reduce process resources also extend actuator’s lifetime span.

Robust Delay Block Stabilization via Integral Sliding Mode Control

In this paper, a new discontinuous control strategy is proposed for robust stabilization of a class of uncertain multivariable linear time-delay system with delays in both the state and control variables. The integral sliding mode control technique is applied to compensate the uncertainty term and then a predictor is used to obtain free-delay closed-loop system with desired spectra. For systems...

A sliding mode control scheme for non-minimum phase non-linear uncertain input-delay chemical processes

This paper considers the robust control of non-linear uncertain chemical processes in the presence of input-delay and inverse response. A novel and systematic sliding mode control (SMC) scheme, which integrates a time-advanced non-linear predictor and a statically equivalent output map (SEOM), is proposed to compensate for the process s input-delay and to circumvent the negative effect of inver...

Sliding Mode Control of Non-minimum Phase Nonlinear Uncertain Input-delay Chemical Processes

A sliding mode control scheme is developed for nonlinear, non-minimum phase, uncertain, input-delay processes. The proposed scheme, which integrates a time-advanced nonlinear predictor and a statically equivalent output map, is able to compensate the process’s input-delay and to circumvent the negative effect of inverse response. The convergence properties of the proposed sliding mode control s...

A Dissipative Integral Sliding Mode Control Redesign Method

This paper develops a new method of integral sliding mode control redesign for a class of perturbed nonlinear dissipative switched systems by modifying the dissipativity-based control law that was designed for the unperturbed systems. The nominal model is considered affine with matched and unmatched perturbations. The redesigned control law includes an integral sliding-based control signal such...
